It has been a year since we launched our line of Hengst PM2.5 Activated Carbon Cabin Filter last Nov.

The recommended change is 365 days or 15000km, whichever comes 1st.

Just recently, Bro Jerry came back to us for his cabin filter replacement (he 1st installed with us on 03 Dec 2015).

Do have a look at the pics of his 11 months old cabin filter VS brand new.
That's how much pollutants it had filtered out, ie thats why its that dark.

Hi guys,

As part of our Bimshop aftersales service, we will be sending sms service reminders on your cabin filter change as its almost 365 days (recommended change interval) for those of you who have installed your cabin filter with us in Nov 2015.

To improve our services better, we will be noting down your mileage when we change your cabin filter so that you can check with us anytime when you feel that your cabin is smelling funny.
(Recommended change 365 days or 15000km, whichever comes 1st)

Often we have customers coming to us complaining of foul smell from their Aircon or reduced Aircon flow etc.

Usually the culprit is the Aircon filter aka the cabin filter. For most drivers, most have no idea on when or how to change so end up clocking more than 15000km on that (we have seen worse cases such as 80000km for those folks whose 2008, 2009 rides have not changed since day 1.

It's made worse when your mech puts in some inferior china made cabin filter such as the one in the pic which is almost like a coffee paper filter.

So for you and your passengers' sake, it's best to know what goes into your car.
At least a Mann pls and not some China Yuki brand....lol
