Hi Boyeric,
My car is a 1988 325i (4dr) I have the H&R springs and need your advise on which Bilstein (B6 or B8) to go with. Secondly what would be the damage to my wallet?

Thanks

Hi Genozide

thanks for your info.
It is much better for you to search your car model via Bilstein website.
http://www.bilstein.de/de/produkte/produktfinder.html
Click on English, then search your vehicle brand, year, go to suspension to look for your shocks part number.

B6 is always with original springs height
B8 is alwways with lowered springs

What's the damage to your wallet? Please let me know the exact chassis detail or the shocks part number, I could then help you check.

Thanks.

Hi Boyeric,
Checked and the following are the details:
* Front shock absorber : P36-0136 for 51mm front strut
* Rear shoch absorber : B36-2028
* Dust cover kit for the front shock absorber : B1 200080 ASP A132

Kindly advise me on the expected damage $$.

Thanks in advance
