Eh, I was told some of you fellas met up for TT last night at Aman Suria. Care to update us poor souls who couldn't make it?
 
It was a last minute gathering of CK, Energy, Ken and myself as most other E90'ers were out of town. Basically, chit chat, and compared our rides, listen to the stereo setup of Ken's E90 and went for spins in the tuned 330i and rode on my car to see how noisy the Toyo tires were. Left around 12:15am.. A good catchup with the fellas hehe.

Thanks for organising FJ. It was small gathering but good to hear what some of the other guys are up to.

Ken's car definitely seemed more powerful after the tuning, and it will be interesting to see whether there is any additional improvement from the next remap. The stereo was also bangin', and can definitely recommend for those considering an upgrade (and if you're willing to part with your UDM for 5 days :eek: )

Very impressed with FJ's new rims, although I think the tires will be replaced sooner rather than later...

DY / Bimmer910 - any update on the Klang meet-up.

We also compared the M sports Suspension (CKs 325i sports) vs. the Sports Suspension (Ken's 330i), and while the rear ride height is about the same, the front is noticably lower (about 1 finger) for the Sports Suspension compared to the M sports suspension. Also the ride is much softer and cushy for the sports suspension compared to the stiffer M sports suspension (esp rear). Pretty interesting find. Also for Energy's 2008 spec E90, the CD changer is now in the hole under the trunk (where the spare is usually found in other cars) instead of the left side. As a result the boot floor is flat on the left side and thus wider to fit golf bags.
 
Nice to hear that you guys did a meet up recently and have some new discoveries :) Too bad that I can't join you guys. Were back hometown for the CNY celebration.

Hello chaps, Im working on the Port Klang run....
At this point it looks like either 1st or 2nd March 08 for lunch
It will likely be open to 25 cars. E90s will get priority.

Lunch will be buffet style western, fully sponsored (im working on this too).
Beer, liquor and a'la carte will be self paid for. Also trying to arrange for outriders and road closure in front of the venue.

Thats all i have info on at the moment. Should be more or less confirmed by this Friday.

1st March I'm joining the Sapura Clinic with RB they all, David also joining the clinic ma.. that one I must go... this Klang run I think I pass because missy complain the last Soul Out lunch bored her to death when only batang cakap batang.. :D

Unless... she works that Saturday.. then I sure sneak out.. Sunday confirm cannot because she never work on Sunday.. only occasional Saturday.. Don't worry about me.. if situation permits, I will sure tag along but very last minute wan.. :D

Good arrangement bro but pls avoid 1st March as like what astroboy said, we have the Car Clinic event and there are 8 or 9 of us E90ers are attending this event on 1st March.

Try to reschedule if possible :rolleyes:

I'm also going for the car clinic on 1st March. I recall DY encouraging us to attend since the clinic is gonna focus on E90s, heh!

Yeah, I believe Sapura Auto will talk more on newer cars like E90, E92 & E60. So it's good for us to attend. These are the 9 E90ers attending the car clinic: astroboy, BlackE90, GHS, AlexNg, Juan Powerblow, Cobra Kai, danc, izuaff & myself.
 
Its about time for a nice catchup of us E90'ers heh. I got a request to rope in E90'ers friends join this event. Its a private function, free flow drinks + food. There are members from the Porsche club and some Mini owners already joining. Total limited to~100 persons at the event so its quite ok. I have only ~10 invites.
