Auto to manual conversions for e46

Dear Sifu's,I'm sorry for bringing this up. I'm sure thereare many "Auto-heads" here. But I'm just curious , has anyone done it here?I've seen an excellent thread on E46 fanatics, some guy in canada has done it DIY:top:. And managed to take pictures of the whole process as well. :stupid:

my question would be how much for the entire installation, the time frame taken and what I would get for selling my complete auto transmission and components in return?

Well,

I've asked Selvam of Bimmer and Oberhaimer. Selvam says its notpossible because of lackofspares and Oberhaimer says problem with module etc..

Easier to do if you can find the gearbox, together with the wire harness from similar car with manual box.. can recoup money if you import the whole halfcut with gearbox. Keep the box and everything you need for the conversion then sell of the engine together with the autobox and wire harness from your current car. Can consider...
