Auto Start/Stop

With my build almost complete, I was going to ask my dealer to decode the auto/start stop function. Can this be done or is it a government mandate? I thought I read somewhere that a dealer would do this, but can't find it.

I think that you can prevent it from activating it in your profiles but not sure.

You can get your dealer to recode the ASS to "Last User Mode". What this does is it remembers the last state the ASS is in when u switched off the engine. So if u turned off the ASS, when you restart the car it remains off. You can turn back on the ASS manually by pressing the ASS button.

Your dealer will charge you to do this recoding though. Check with yr SA fr the charges.
