Don't pay anything close to RM500. That will get you a brand new one.

I m very sure ATSB got plenty of them. Price not sure.
Mine was bought for rm150 from a chop shop in Klang.
I also saw a few in a chop shop beside Zoo Negara.
If it is more than 150, just walk away..

That one doesn't have the OBC button.

Oh I forgot to add. While rare, these stalks can fail. Make sure you try out the movement of the stalk. Should be smooth. If possible, ask for warranty and make sure all the functions work when installed.

Bro, you can code using NCS Expert which is easier and faster than GT1.

Module to code is AKMB which is kombi or cluster, set to below

0574 BC ON-BOARD COMPUTER (OBC)
* 0001 aktiv active
0002 nicht_aktiv not active

Under KOMBI module, just thick the OBC and save it.

Darn.... my FC is so high! No thanks to my hill top condo and short drive to office.


I tried to remove the old stalk without removing the steering and slip ring as per UDM68 instruction but failed .... Hahaha I might not have his skillful hands


New stalk installed and plugged in to check if my pre coded with BMW Scanner 1.40 has activated the new stalk


WARNING! Never forget to screw back the centre steering bolt, otherwise you have to redo the whole process all over again. Dont pull the steering if your centre bolt is not secured otherwise you will damage your slip ring, I saw in other video that once the ribbons are out its hard to put it back.

Everything are the same as aidilj's guide but removing the airbag of my car (3 spokes) require the following trick
