Hi am new here and I am planning to get a either 320d or 520d, any recommended used car shop in KL? I was told that 320d year 2014 is at around 130k+, true?
I am having Teana for 5 years by now and it is a very comfort car, hoping to get a more enjoyable and powerful BMW. :)
TQ.

u just have to go around and test. Not that many around becos owners are still enjoying their reliable cars. I got my 520D 4 months ago (manufactured in 2012 and registered in 2013). Already added 10k plus km to it. Enjoying it. Good luck in your search!!!

Do you take F30 320d or F10 520d?

I do not know which one good choice..

I like 320d because more sporty but my wife 520d because the spacious.

With one less problem? please guide me

Thanks!

It depends on your needs. Both are running on the same N47 engine which is almost bulletproof. Since you are using a Teana, a F10 520d is more suited to you in terms of space. A 320d will be a compromise.

For a F10 520d, I would strongly recommend you to look for a 2014 520d LCI. These are the ones with the digital meter and adaptive LED head lights.

Mod it to the sportiness that you desire. There are some members that has done a great job in modding it. Depends how deep your pockets are.

If all reasons above failed to convince you to join the F10 group, remember this : happy wife happy life! Wife wants the 520d, get it.

If I must choose a D car, I would choose the one which is more refined; which is guess is the F10.

Used a E90 320d and one thing that I "disliked" even after using the car for three years was the sound of the Diesel engine. I reckon you'll hear less of it in a more refined car like the F10.

Using F30 328i now; my take is that F30s aren't the most refined cars (NVH) cars around in the class.

I think you are absolutely right, happy wife happy life! But it means to stay on my Teana :)
2014 520d LCI is one of my fav and the cost is above 180k found in the net.
