Aiyo...Water Not Enuff Warning Light ON!

i check every week.

i check once a month, or b4 long distance trip+eng oil as well.

I check and top if necessary once every 3-4 months. At least your warning light is working properly . I had a coolant low warning light but there is still water in my expansion tank at maximum level.

Problem mysteriously fixed by changing expansion tank. :dunno:

mee too kena... first time kena due to water hose leaking ...and now kena again, when i checked found there's leak mark at the radiator side, just a micro crack on black non-metal part (it's not plastic it's look like fibreglass)
so now every 2 or three days kena top up.

I just to give a top up tip when low water warning during drive, since we cannot use cold water to topup so prepare yourself with 1/4 inch size tubing about one and half meter length. Use this tubing for transfer the water from the windscreen washer tank into the radiator tank. The windscreen water is hot enough for 1 hour driving...!

supprise today, my viper water tank water sudenly finish all (the water light warning) after i check, iizit the tank crack or have to top up once a week ? are the engine too hot to happen this ?

Your wiper washer motor may be leaking. Happened to me.

the light on for about 20 sec...then it disappeared!

OMG ..wat is going on...need to fix it fix it !!

done pressure check ...

check all joints n hoses...

check from undercarriage

no leaking no leakage found also ..hmmm

expansion tank good condition

take out sensor ...clean it

mech said maybe suspect sensor not accurate... if problem re-occur...

change sensor might help

leakwoon, I have experienced the same thing as you.. Sent it to AB and it turns out that the radiator was leaking.. Changed the whole thing last October.. And then, the same thing happened again last week!! Dont know what the f*** is happening.. Anyway, just came back from AB.. Turns out that there is a small leak in the radiator again.. Changed it FOC cos it's still under warranty.. Guess, it's a very good advice to check the water level every month..

almost everyday have to top up water .. (5 years liao the car, maybe have to change hole radiator )

bro leakwoon,
i think u need to chk the hot pipe that goes to the aircon for hot air, coz your car have the hot air function. The hot pipe leaking may give you the problem that the water level is low coz the leak from the air con part not the engine. So when u chk the engine it is ok.

Hi, i am not sure if the structure of the M54 & M52 engines are the same but my E36 325 actually had a leak before but i couldn't detect the leak initially beacuse i thought all leaks comes near the radiator area but later on when i send it for checks, only then did i found out that there's still another metal t sharp bar below the throtte body that is leaking, it leaks slowly but surely. I had to top up water every 2 - 3 days then.
