Torned, so needed to change as dirty air goes directly into engine = RM 178.00

Oil indication shows up for 5-10 seconds everytime my car starts up,sensor rosak = RM 295.00Oh changed my boot handle as the original one was in terrible condition = RM 445.00Total labour = RM 30.00On another matter, the mechanic found ways how second hand car dealers disable the faulty light indication on our car cockpit

They gently stuff this sponge inside the speedometer and WAHLA! the light goes off...

bro, i notice your car alot of problem from most of your posting. where did u buy the car? u didnt bring for inspection before buying? of course inspection wont 100% gurantee a troble free car, but it will minimise the damage to your wallet

Mouse - my partner got his E46 CI from this second hand dealer from Ampang, and the car was in great condition even after a year.. assuming that since there wasn't a problem to his CI so i took this e46. Too bad I didn't notice the wear and tears.

Anyhow, i don't really like used items but for an E46 i don't have much options so changing everything to make it brand new again seems like a pleasing option for me.

PS : Silly me, i didn't diagnose the car.. Never knew i could do so.

Walau.... bad advice. What if the duck tape fly away while at 200km/h ?
Just get used one from chop shop

Fly away is small matter, what if suck into the combustion chamber.. engine cannot "talk" with mouth taped up..

Simon, that second pic is not a oil pump sensor but Engine oil level sensor as stated in the box.

You are right, for emergency case, OK to use duct tape but for long run.. NO... :top:

Simon. where exactly was the sponge installed inside the speedometer. Can post picture.. Do it quietly or else Joker will say it a bug..

about the sponge, i got no idea because my dad took my car to the workshop as i gotta work. I'll go over to my mechanic within this few days and ask him yah!
