AFOS this Sunday

Guys AFOS race this sunday 6th of May 2007 at Sepang International circuit. Most Car clubs are going. The warm up of the cars start at 8.30am and the race starts at 10.30pm. I have about 30 tickets to give away (FREE). Who is intrested in going.Parking will be in the Mall Area. Motorsports Asia is the organiser for AFOS which in turn has various races under under belt ie ATCC (Asian Touring Car C'ship), Formula Renault. It used to have Formula BMW Asia and Porsche Carrera Cup races in its schedule, not sure about now. It's not a car show... The 'car display' for the car clubs is to generate extra interest for ppl to attend the race...

yes AFOS is run by motorsportasia and AFOS consists of 4 different series which are FV6A (formula V6 Asia), Formula BMW Asia), PCCA (Porsche Carerra Cup Asia) + lastly the exciting ATCS(Asian Touring Car Series) and they travel asia wide to places like china,indonesia,thailand and i think this year autopolis in japan.

as for the "car show",its actually a display of the various car clubs in malaysia.
there will be f&b booths,merchandise booths,race car displays etc.

there will be aprox 300+ cars from the various car clubs paraded at the mall area(grandstand)

on display there will also b a few MRC(malaysian rally championship) cars as well as the D1 gp top 6 winners from last years malaysian leg.

yes the e90 wtcc car is actually from team petronas driven by mohamed fariq,he raced last year in 2.0 waja which was also pretty power packed.

i heard it start yesterday...sounds soooooooo nice!!!sigh!

the e46 2.0 tht was used by team engstler last year is now driven by masaki kano,a japanese touring car racer.
