Hello, everyone. I've just joined today to get some info onaccident repair.I've tried seaarching forums with keywords 'accident repair'but did not find any help.I have an E36 328 96 that spun fun-fair tea-cup style on PLUShighway opp Seremban R&R. Car is damaged quite badly onfront and back (hitting right side highway divider as it spun)but middle section perfectly intact. This was Oct 2001, the insurance company was not aggreablewith my request and I took them to court. The car has been from one workshop to another and finallyto my porch and still is today.Does anyone know an alternative to AutoBavaria for collisionrepair like this. I showed Mr Mubarak pictures of the car andhe estimated 70k repairs. (It was 40k in 2001). But AutoBavariais not sure if this car can be accepted for repairs as it is NOTregistered with them.

It would probably be cheaper in the long run for you to get another 328i of the same year. Even after you fix it, you cannot possibly know if there are further problems with the car. Hopefully, you had comprehensive insurance and the car was considered a writeoff. Get the money from the insurance company as fast as possible. You should also think about the value of the time, the headache dealing with the repair person, inspections with JPJ, etc.

Thanks ichiwan2 for the tip. But just look at this 328 and you'll know
it should not take to much trouble to restore.

I have survived the insurance company bully tactics. After three and
a half years, the lawyers made this bully pay everything plus interest.
