Has anyone faced this problem before?I had my eml and asc light issue settled. After that I filled up the petrol and drove for a while and the abs and asc lights pop up, speedo dies but rev is still working.I run the engine for about 40km with that.Off the engine and a while later everything is ok.Drove around town and there was no other issue. The next time I fill up, I hear clicks from the dashboard and the asc and abs lights pop up right after the fill up.Diagnosis puts the fault at speed sensor, but I am doubtful whether that is the actual cause, since the problem only appears after a full tank fill up.Anyone has any ideas, before I change the speed sensors

The funny thing is that the problem only comes after fill up. I drove from kl to jb, it was there up to pagoh, the stop and drive no issues. Same when it drove back. Nothing all the way to kulai shell, fill up it comes popping out. Drove to pagoh, and let the petrol come down a bit. Stop and restart - no problem after that until I reached kl.

If it was the sensor, I think it would have popped up right after the stop over right. Can it be the fuel float?
I did do a reading, fault was the sensor, but if sensor was gone it should be faulting all the time, not only after fill up

It really does sound like a speed sensor issue. It could not be the ABS module since its already fixed.

If the speedometer stop functioning, it could indicate a faulty driver side front speed sensor.

its ur speed sensor rear left side. if its not working, abs+asc light will lit, ur speedometer wont work and ur fuel gauge will fluctuates. it will disturb ur gear changing too, as ur speed cant be determined to assist ur gearbox, so try to drive using steptronic mode.(as how i was told by bomin auto) like mine the fault will come out when its raining, due to exposed wire and causes shortage. will try to use black tape to wrap it and see how it goes

check your DISA and ICV.

If speed sensor then the light will always stay on. Even you reset it, it will turn on after you drive about 100m.

If you change the DISA and ICV, you need to do an adaptation first. or drive very fast on the highway to adapt the new value.
