Is ur meter calibrated properly? At 5th gear, 5100 rpm...wat speed r u doing?

B)
good question and i don't know the answer to that. i was doing 175 km/h at fifth
before it cuts at 5100 rpm. kinda frustrating when u know u still can go for another 500-700 rpm. :dunno:

Could it be 180km/hr speed limiter built into your ECU. It is required by law in Japan that Car's speed are limited to 180km/hr max. Sometimes imported cars are 'detune' and ECU 'reprogrammed' to comply with these parameters.

It's common for local chop shop to bring in half cuts and parts of UDM from Japan nowadays. You may have change something obtained from chop shop lately?

ANYWAY THIS IS JUST A THOUGHT. I MAY BE WRONG ABOUT ALL THESE.

Hope you get the problem sorted out soon.
