bros n sifus,ive been experiencing this problem for the past few weeks..my e34 seems to have "temporary menopause" everytime i floor the gas pedal..what i mean with temporary menopause is when i floor the pedal, the gear will drop, then the rpm meter will experience kinda cut-off at 3500-4000 level, and this makes my car sangkut sangkut...instead of the car can overtake other cars easily, i need to be light on my foot and this really frustrated me...and to annoy me further, this doesnt happen at all times...:banghead:..other than that, this car is in very good condition..at first, i thought it may be due to my driving skills..as u know, e34 has 2 knockdown steps if you want to go full throttle...i have changed MAF, spark plug, fuel filter, recent service early Aug, yet the problem still persist...been wondering what is wrong..btw, mine is m50b25tu (auto)...appreciate if you guys can enlighten me on this...

simple... your vanos jam'ed...

it's either your solenoid, hose or main unit clogged with dirt or need to change the vanos slip disc's..

or

your cam shaft sensor kaput..


take your car to a good mechanic, yours should have diagnosed it earlier..

the workshop that i sent did diagnose, but it only detect maf error...perhaps i need to change the workshop la...anyway, thanks pussy!

check on the thread on the list of workshop that we go to, take the nearest one and PM the person of the workshop's service and boss..it helps..

well, i did sent my car to friend's workshop..seems like vanos still ok..so, he suspect computer box..then, he temporary put another ecu n walaa! my car vroom again! the prob is, that ecu belongs to another fella who sent his car for engine swap...so, now i need to find computer box...any1 selling?
