320 Vs 318

Hi All,Need some help. Am on the lookout for a manual 36. There is currently a few in the market 318 and 1 320. Question is, apart from displacement, are there any other difference in terms of parts (engine as well) between the 2 model? I don't supposed the M50 parts are interchangeable with the M43 right? :106:The 318 is a 96 model and the 320 is a 93 model. Both comes with sunroof. Appreciate if someone can point me in the right info!! Thanks :top:

the m50 parts are not interchangable with the m43...

the 320 would be a recond and 318 local CKD if i'm not mistaken, but as your 318 has got sunroof than i assume it's a direct re-cond unit ...instead of 320's why not get your self a 325 ...much more better platform with the m50b25 in it .... the 320's has got a slighly different platform ....

Ice, 325 would be nice but have not seen any in manual. Am not so keen on getting an auto one. When you say platform, what exactly do you mean by that?

it means some components aren't the same ...

get an auto and later on convert it to manual ....as simple as that bro ...all you need is the moolahs ...

look at my thread in the showroom section titled e36 m50b25 journey ....i've got the halcut with an auto tranny and later on convert it to manual ...if wanna wait for a manual half-cut it may take ages and the cost involved is almost the same at the end of the day ...
