2006 525i Msport

Guys, need your advise. I just saw a 2006 Japan Spec 525i msport with magnesium engine, push start and about 12k mileage. Their asking price is RM335k. The car is in an immaculate condition. I am quite keen to buy it.Do you think this is a good price considering it is CBU?I know I won't be able to sleep tonight!!Thanks

i saw 525i year 2005 Msport edt at Naza World ,selling for 285k....

clean n low mileage too...

try to visit Naza for more info...

Ary, when I went to Naza World, they did not have any in stock!!

I saw another at Zaibi but this was a 2005 msport with 35,000kms going for RM290K (after nego).

BTW, RM335k is before nego. I think it will come down a bit.

330Ci - Thanks. This site is very informative. I suppose I need to also add freight charges and about 10% to 15% margin for the importer.

Freight Charges approx USD3k per container Port Klang. Handling and clearing fees should not exceed RM2k in Port Klang.

To know their "profit" - ask for the AP which states the tax paid. Ensure tax paid and AP is KL ( not Sabah/Sarawak AP) . For 2005 models, anything less than RM50k tax paid probably under declared for 2005 models.

Also note that cars brought in on of after August every calendar year is subject to lower custom tax - due to timing. You will notice many stocks at dealers during this time of year.

I was just thinking.... for a few dollars more I would probably be better off getting a brand new 523i from AB. At least it comes with the warranty and free service. I may sound fickle but when I am going to spend that kind of money I'd like to weigh the pros and cons first. What I want is a good hassle free car I can enjoy driving.

rahmath...for a 5 sili i strongly advise you to buy with warranty backup since u are paying at that price...summore if from AB u get the latest LCI model with lots of new stuff especially the faster shifting auto tranny...
