L & G, after 3 fun years, my rear window has gone all blurry. Read somewhere about Meguiar's #18 plastic polish but it has been discontinued and replaced with PlastX (?). Anyone given it a shot? Appreciate your feedback & recommendation(s) or I might as well replace the whole sheet. p/s - since we're on this 'rear' subject, where can I find the rubber trim for the same rear window, as I lost mine somewhere along the Karak highway.

Meguiar's stuffs are pretty good. I use polish-X to remove minor scratch marks. But I seriously doubt it would do any good to your rear plastic window.

Hi,

That is why I bought a hard top coupe which gives better handling and sound proofing. Not to mention maintenace of the soft top and water sippage... Sorry, hijacked your thread.:103:

CWP,
All the attention it receives when the soft-top is down, makes up for the shortfalls. Esp from the fairer gender...

Z alone is already attention grabbing.... so no need to show off further... Malaysia mana boleh pakai top down...

cor, you mean there are better cars than the Z3? heh heh just kidding. of course there are but after three years, there's this bonding thing between man and machine. sometimes better than the wife cos it listens to what i'm saying and i can really drive it by the seat of my pants.

anyway, have driven with the top down many times along those excellent beaches of terengganu. this is malaysia, boleh apa?

ladies,

i shall endeavour to test the plastX, though i can't for the life of me guarantee the ETA. but i shall endeavour till the cows come home.

so if anyone has jumped the gun and beaten me to it, please give us a shout.

Really took my time, unfortunately my rear windscreen was beyond help. It seems like washing with the carwash is not enough to remove the oxidation spots. But plast x did restore my headlights.

While applying the plast x using extra elbow power, inadvertently tore the upper plastic windscreen, which brings me to another posting.

I second that! lmao! :))

Hi...get the solution from Autobavaria or other BMW dealers. They sell some sort of a paste from BMW that you can use to clean the rear view plastic. It will clean it up real good. I wont go for 3rd party products. (Z3/96-Z4/03)
