xenon light for e90 jap spec

Hey guys ,Need some advice , I wanna ask my e90 is Japan spec originally come with xenon light ? I'm thinking to change light bulb to Philips diamond version 5000k H7 , but got a friend say jap spec can directly change to 6000k or even higher bulb , but some friend say will need to change HID , so which is correct ?ThanksJin

Sorry Guys , i found out my E90 is come with HID ballast but only 4300k d1s bulb, do anyone know where can i buy Philips Xenon HID D1S 6000K ?
