evisuzuki82,

most HID kits are plug & play....further understanding click below...

What Is HID???

so,if i bought the oem xenon...it just go straight away without any other hardware required?

u mean headlight with projector? yup, plug and play.. pls note there are the xenon and bi-xenon projectors.. the latter, can use xenon as high-beam..

actually i'm not pretty sure about xenon headlight with or without projector........and......i dont know how does it looks like.....i just searching xenon headlight in ebay.......and they have some original xenon headlight......tought that i can buy them if it just plug and play without any modification......

yup.. plug n play.. note coupe n sedan housings are different.. facelift n non-facelift, obviously diff la..

ooh, someone said u MIGHT need to drop by a bmw specialist to make your car 'recognize' that u are having xenon on ur car.. otherwise u'd have the 'front headlight not working' warning, and ur xenon might then be blinking.. BUT a 2 dollar resistor wud solve this immediately.. :D

hi evi : the projector (hid) n xenon r 2 diff entities. but it wld b gd to hev both actually, u can tell fr the looks u get fr ppl (be it frenly or unfrenly stares u get :p)

some say the bi-xenons arent stable fer E46, u cld check dis wiv shedden, PM him.

last i checked at 1st division, the xenons were goin fer like RM3500-3600. it is gd to buy locally when it comes to electrical stuff cos they carry warranty my fren :)

nope, u don need any extra auxillary hardware / mod job to retro fit those xenons to yer car, only thang is dat ensure u get the rite one fer yer car model as states by adliz ;)

best wishes. :)

FYI, just to create more confusion. You have projectors for "normal" halogen lights too. See the E36. Its also available in the E46 in the EU market but not locally here.

ehhhmmmm....i just worry the same thing happen when i install my oem rear led light....its doesnt work and bmw dealer told me,i need to remap my ecu for 50pound to make it compatible with my car......anybody have any idea if that happen again....how much they will cost me to remap my ecu at m'sia?
