No bro it was done by another shop, inline 6 will cost a little more

ERing Top Overhaul repair kit from BA RM650
Victor Reinz engine bolts (must change) RM120
Workmanship RM600 (but I can't name the shop as it's a special price for me)
Rethread sparkplug thread at mechine shop incl in above


New engine oil ravenol 15-40 semi RM155 including flush
Engine cleaner RM90
BMW ori NGK spark plug RM40
BMW ori coolant RM30

Vacuum pump o ring RM20
Back plate (coolant) RM45
Chain rail guard plastic RM50


However if u r looking for a shop to do the similar, you may go to Hoo huat at Segambut.

Pretty cheap for a top overhaul bro... You mentioned 'engine cleaner'...is that a solvent, or an engine flush?

Yes from revenol since top is open my mech took the opportunity to flush and chean the engine

If you add what I have spent for cooling system replacement recently and some pre repairs about RM2000 the total is near RM4000 for the total job

I still have vacuum leaks issue bro and now looking for time to resolve it.

The sound only came when it's hot so it was not detected when I collect the car.

When the engine is hot I can hear Pssst ...Pssssssst! sound as when I accelerate. Need to investigate further, just too busy at work can't do so now.

X69 was ill, leaking head gasket, repair done at kuchai lama. RM300 for labour while new triple layers gasket is complimentary from the workshop.

Engine oil for flushing RM39.90 x 2 and coolant RM30

Sincere thanks to Wingzee and to our former OM who prefer to be unmentioned.

I got a set of E46 CI Bi Xenon with 8500K HID D2S/C , its auto leveling and come with almost a new cover too. RM800

Installation and coding is DIY

Also purchased a pair of used Philip Xenon 4300 (yellow) for RM160 per pair since am an uncle and have difficulty to see at night. I personally love the white as it soooooo COOOOL!


p.s. I replaced my fog light HB4 / 9006 halogen with this 16watt CREE LED
