Mileage? Got full service history?

Mileage is about 60k km. It was 29k km only when I got it less than 2 years ago.. Ha ha, I've driven the car more in that time than the first 9 years of it's life. 90% highway miles from KL to SG.

Prior history no... but during my ownership, I should be able to dig up the bills. Serviced by Ultra Tune, Autovox (sg) and Espace (sg). All reputable Porsche indies. BTW, this car can be serviced at the Porsche authorized dealer, it's been serviced at the prev Porsche authorized dealer before.

It's tip top condition with all the preventive maintenance items (such as water pump) and wear / tear items replaced. Paintwork almost perfect (very smooth when you do a polish), except the front bumper that has suffered from stone chips due to highway driving. I've refrained from re-painting that as I don't want ppl to think it's an accident car. (it's accident free guaranteed).

It's best enjoyed during the early morning or at night.... Driving with the top down is very enjoyable... My next car is still an open top car.

v nice car. bro, how much on average is servicing? still can nego?

Thanks ! The car is a beauty...

She takes alot of engine oil which is the main cost - 9 litres of the good stuff... with labour and filter around rm800 or so... Most of the common wear and tear items have been replaced by me for preventive maintenance so I expect it'll be normal oil change (every 10k) servicing only for quite a long while... I use the car mainly for nshwy driving down south, so I always make sure the car is in tip top condition.

Price is negotiable. SMS or call me if you are interested.

The car is a good weekend toy or even a daily driver.... it's got a decent amount of luggage space (front and rear trunk). I've had customs officers (at the border) betting amongst themselves whether the engine is in the front or rear. Popped both front and back for them AND both lost ! Told them it doesn't have an engine ha ha...

Bump.... still available.... please call or sms if interested...

Really really good condition....

Nice to see you here mate. What's next? Cayman or a 911?

911 Turbo would have been my first choice !

But due to budget constraints and looking for a more comfy (and bigger) highway car went for a 335i E93 instead. Now trying to settle boost leak and unhappy with the suspension... haha.. The power is great though..

I seem to be always changing between the P-car, VW and BMW ! Was interested in the R series but the mechantronic and slipping clutch issue is a bother... even with the wet clutch dsg. Hopefully, they'll get that sorted out one day... still miss my scirocco..

How does scirocco compare with d 335? I was not aware d dsg was problematic as i m thinking of getting a sharan, which has basically same engine n gb as d golf n sci. Wereu able 2 pump 95 ron? Thks 4 info n sori 2 hijack.

Mine was the 3rd scirocco registered in SG, a 1.4TSI....so it attracted alot of attention... Powerwise of course no comparison, but stock vs stock, the Scirocco suspension was miles ahead of the E93 335i in handling, but the E93 is much more comfortable while the roc (with std 18") is kind of bumpy. Overall, the roc with the 1.4l was amazing for the money.

The problem with the dsg affects the 7 speed dry clutch dsg more than the 6 speed wet clutch (although there are some cases). The main problem is with the mechatronic of the dsg. Scores of the '09 / '10 batches were inflicted (some jerky, some dsg total failure). I hear that VW improved the mechatronic on the later ones, but there are still failures. VW sg even extended warranty on the dsg for the '09/'10 batches to applease the owners.

The other problem is with the clutch paks themselves, there's also cars with premature clutch failures resulting in jerkiness in 2nd gear (I think). But the clutch pak issue is less common than the mechatronic. So far I think all the dsg issues were addressed under warranty (but got to wait for parts sometimes).

If u mod the car for more power, the chances of failure higher - the 7 sp dsg is rated for only 250nm and the GTI 6 sp dsg up to 350nm. I was running higher than that for my 7 sp dsg for over a year - no problems.

95 ron petrol is ok for the 1.4l roc. Although as mine is tuned, I use 97.

All the above info may be outdated as I've not been in the VW forum for a while now, so maybe the issues have been fixed.... And I'm aware that there is a new model to at least the 6 sp dsg. BTW, it also affects the audi version of the dual clutch box also.

Anyway the good thing is that VW Malaysia provides a 5 yr warranty, so at least the problems will be fixed foc.

The Sharan may be using the newer version of the 6 sp wet clutch dsg. Don't mean to scare you !

** EDITED - for clarity, VW with 1.4l single turbo/super+turbo = 7 sp dry clutch dsg. VW with 2l turbo = 6 sp wet clutch dsg.
