WTA - E39 External Door Handle

Hi Guys,It's been a while since I last posted. I just sent my 525i in for some paint touch up around the doors - parking dents needed sorting out.When the car came back, I noticed something about the door handles on the outside - the original finishing, as I remember, had high gloss paint on the outside and a matte, textured finish on the underside of the handle - where your fingers go when you grab the door handle from the outside.Can anyone confirm that their E39's has this finish on the exterior door handle as well? And if I can trouble you guys to check if the finish on the underside of the door handle is painted or unpainted or if it has some sort of coating to have that textured finish?Thanks in advance, guys!!!!!!

Checked mine. The underside is smooth. But I did just repaint my car, so the paintshop probably painted over the inside of the handle also!
