as a continuation from my previous thread http://bmwclubmalaysia.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37696its seem like the cause of the door cant be open from outside was a broken door handle bracket. the assembly works as a pulley, when u pulled the external door handle, it will pull the bowden cable and it will release the mechanisme to release the door open. but once the bracket tht hold the pulley housing broken, the tension from the pulling effect is not enough to release the mechanisme to release the door open. the bracket from my ckd car is made from plastic, while the replacement part from cbu unit is aluminum bracket.
