Yes, actually, the rule is very simple... "Ikut kiri jika tidak memotong" or "Keep left unless overtaking"... Nowhere in it was there anything regarding speed... Sadly, many Malaysian drivers are under the impression that as long as they achieve 90-95% of the legal speed limit, they automatically "earn" the right to stay in the fast lane... sigh...
So basically - this post was just to tell everyone that your E36 can leave behind a E39 laaa?... aiyaaaa... tell early early laa next time - easy for people to comment and congragulate you for being the next micheal schumacher.....:top: hehehe....:top: :106:

hahhahaha no lah. Was already expecting a response like that, but that definetely wasnt my purpose........me definetely no schuey lah, and i got nothing to boast about.
but i do think that we should be courteous to other ppl on the road....especially other UDM drivers, dont you?
The ones that irritate me the most are the ones who speed on the left lane and flash their lights and / or blow their horn at the car in front. I kena before. Had one such idiot in a kurap proton wira tailgating me and doing such a thing and all because his other psycho buddies had already made the fast and middle lanes their private race track.
snchin, no worries, we know you weren't hogging, I have been in similar situation countless times, actually many people in this country tailgate without realising it, because they were never taught the 2-sec or whatever rule when following people.
As for leaving the right turn indicator turned on, again, not many people understand the intention of doing this (if they bother to check their rear view mirrors)... haiya, this country...
apology to my understanding, maybe the driver of the e39 was'nt tailgatting you is just that he does'nt wan to press too much brake in order to keep up with the flow, cos somehow i think that e39 pick up a bit stuck up. agree??
snchin, must be the air splitter on your rear bumper... I get poked all the time too, typically on Jelutong Expressway heading towards George Town... by all sorts of cars, especially Vioses and Avanzas, even when I'm minding my own business on the slower lanes with no traffic on fast lane.
Don't worry bro...my post was not meant for you at all..it was a general statement and I'm sure ure not a road hogger by the way u posted the situation..well done bro..cheers and beers!!!
Ive seen snchin drive before an e36 325 manual, hes a good and fast driver.
I known one driver in Kuala Kangsar, a 22 year old kid driving an e39 528 the way he drive he thinks he owned the road and the fastest.
One day he install Push Button Starter on his ride and the car smell like something burning (really AH BENG he thinks his bimmer is a proton, can put any cheap accesories inside the ride)
viewfinder, errr, that's not a good idea actually, that would invite more jokers up my car's ass trying to have a closer look at the photo, unless of course I make it big enough, like on my 1280x1024 desktop wallpaper right now...
