Wiper Problem!!!

Dear Guys,Ive just changed to a new set of wipers.The new wipers still making a loud noise while operating the wiper during normal/heavy rain.ive tried washer/ apply butter on my wipers etc but no best result.yesterday still making a loud noise while its raining.any guys here can help me solve this out as im really irritated by this situation/loud wiper noise. even my non-continental cars does not produce any noise...

What noise are you referring to? It can due to many reasons:
- screen is with improper application of rainx liked repellant product.
- silicon type wiper on the old untreated screen
- screen is too old and might need a glass polish service

This is my personal experience. I gave up on silicon and went back to rubber which is softer. Still sourcing for a good orbitor to polish my own screen. Haha.

Sounds like harden rubber wiper blade. New wiper doesn't mean fresh stock.. rubber can turn stale..

One easy solution is to reuse your original wiper arms and replace the wiper rubber with dura-edge rubbers.

Another brand that drivers seem to like is PIAA. Dealers can be found here - http://www.tjm.com.my/automotive/dealers.asp. But remember silicone can be a bit harder than rubber.

I am also using Dura-edge for my e39 for almost a year now and no problem whatsoever. For RM80.00 a pair (just the silicon rubber) with 2 years warranty is a bargain.

Thanks for the info guys. Ive bought a set of wipers for my e60 at auto munich for rm120. i think it is silicon la. ive throw away the new one and use the old one again. surprisingly the condition of the old wiper much better n no noise at all compared to the new one. im thinking of getting the dura age...

I had the same problem with the new Bosch wipers, I just ignored such noise!

bosch wiper's - horrible quality nowdays or hope we are not getting fakes. i know the sound u r talking about, its really annoying..

PIAA silicon wipers? RM180 - RM200/pair quote from a acce shop in Kelana Jaya... apparently its very good and last forever!
