Am now in my last stage of prepping up my ride (2001 E46 325). Ah Meng has taken care of all the mechanical problems (I hope!) now it's time to spruce it up a little. Car is now at a detailing place. Hopefully it'll come back with a showroom shine as promised.Anyway, back to the topic at hand. Detailer guy says he will do the all the glass parts as well to remove the grease, grime, etc.. He advised that I should buy a new set of wiper blades to maintain the windshield in prime condition after that.So wanna know, what blades are the best? Have seen some thread on Duraedge. Some good comments, some bad. How about ori Bosch? How much should I expect for a pair? Also, most important: what size is our wiper blades! Thanx!

Hi Alxy,

I had changed last 3 weeks with Bosch wiper blade that cost me RM80 per pair. I am not sure bout the size but that fellow measure the existing one first before replacement work been carry out. Its raining season nowadays and I think it worth to change.

I heard there is silicon blades available in the market now.

But for Bimmers, the price for a pair cost is quite high, around RM300-RM400. But then the quality tells it all.

Anyone is using silicon wiper now? Any comment on them?

Yeah, bro Vincent is getting one for me today. RM45 only (just the blade replacement).

Using PIAA silicon blades. Very good a seems to be more quiet compare to the other silicon that I had used previously. Got them installed at Soundview at Tmn Megah. Look for Ko Loh. Got mine with installation for RM70 per pcs.

Please note that if you plan to use silicon blades do apply "rain x" on the windscreen or else it will be noisy (screeching)

Hello guys... How do I contact who to get the pair? If not convenient to post in open, please PM me his contact number or email... Guess I got to order from him and have him mail down to me... Or if anyone have contacts in JB?

U can buy the DuraEdge wiper blade replacement from a gal at Caltex near Custom Center..That gal is Vincent aunty. Normally she will promote the product ard Caltex. She will do the replacement for u if u buy from him. Try to catch her there..Good luck.

the silicon wipers are veli the good one as im using them in my E36 & E39

Sorry guys made a typo error. If you use silicon blades don't apply Rain X or else it would be very noisy.

Cheers.

Got them changed by bro Vincent. Not noisy as reported when slight rain. Vincent said the new blades might have been coated with some new substance to prevent the screeching noise.
