Hi. Does anyone know where i could get the H&R sport springs for E30. Is there any shop that keeps them in stock. Cause if not im gonna roder them. if anyone knows where to get them please do let me know...thanx

H&Rs are a good choice, better than Eibach in my opinion for the E30 application (Eibach too soft). Try CalvinTan.

thank you.... i would check out speedzone in batu caves then. been trying to get these springs for the whole week. if they dont have it then i'll just have to order them from calvin tan. using eibach now... really sucks.

Am running on H&Rs too.....stiffer so suitable ppl who likes it this way.....like ME! But pls make sure u match it with shockers who can handle them.....yellow colour ones work well.

thanx.... yeah i just got the bilstein b8's. but i really need the springs. so do you know where to get them here immediately. or no one carries stock. then looks like i just got to order them in.... and wait!!!!

im not sure... but i called up speedzone just now and they said they asked me whether my car was a 4 cylinder or 6. they said they had stock for the 4 cylinder but none for the 6. so i guess its different then.

How much da price for H&R spring for e30???
Hard to find this spring here lor....anyone can give me fon no of dealer (speedzone, etc)

Yes, where can get HnR springs, seems like no one has it is stock.

Jules - i read another thread you mentioned( i think it was u ) that apex is also ok, better than eibach prokit - true? ( btw now you know who bought the zender rims la)

It's a personal preference I guess...I dun drive hard, so Eibach prokit is good enough for me....+ bilstien black front & koni rear+ rear anti-roll bar...still can layan Genting Sempah corner once a while....okey jee:cool:

My H&R from a friend.....a used set so I dun know who sells it new...

I had Apex before but not on a bimmer but Zoggee ( & likely Fabian ) had this spring ( with Koni abs for Zoggee ) and said its good too. I had no complaints on Apex.

On Eibach springs....well, many has this set up and some swear by it as a good compromise esp when used with the Black Touring Blisteins.

So my rating...jeng jeng

H&R is very firm, more for hardcore users and need a heavy duty shockers
M Tech springs.....very firm also and I had a stock abs so the ride was TERRIBLE n harsh but like due to wrong abs matching.
Apex is comfy and less firm than H&R
Eibach is most comfortable, so a good compromise for a daily drive car.

My suggestion is get the Eibach/Blistein black combo and spend the money on a very good ARB. ( read Ireland Engineering ) - I think this is a good compromise!

Suggestion above are for E30 only.....

Last of all, Bro Na993 - I dun know who bought the zender lar....PM me...

comfy--> bilstein black with Eibach spring

agrressive--> bilstein yellow with H&R springs

arbs--> Ireland Engineering if budget permits, if not, Ultra racing ones. Good enough

Comfy would be my choice, any indication price for eibach on a e21/320/6, would it be best suited with a BOGE black and where to source?

Jules - so apex would be in between, eibach and HnR then. Any other feedback from other apex users ?
Wats the recomended mileage for springs before need to replace ?
BTW is ultraracing still around or wat - heard they close / change name??
(bro check out the last reply on the zender thread)
