... and above the pedals. Basically, its the cover that hides the wiring underneath the steering wheel column. Its annoying and quite dangerous that this thing is a pretty flimsy part that tends to drop off when I'm driving my E30. It happens generally, when I depress the clutch and as it comes back my foot catches onto the plastic part and bringing it out of place. So anyone know where to get this and how much does it cost?Since the E30s are pretty old cars, I don't suppose this can be obtained that easily unless you go to some chop shop. Any suggestions. Please advise. Thanks.

yup Theva it is. Cheap & permanent solution! Chop shop no need to find. Even if u have a good one, it'll crack sooner or later. Good luck!

What is a Theva? Is this some sort of glue?
Please provide more information. Thanks.

from your story, i assume you still have this thing on the car.....prolly just a clip missing. happened to one fellow forummer too, bought the clip and done....

Shane, Theva is the "fibreglass guru" aka "Bawah Pokok". He has the mould for doing the cover. I had one made for the white E30, can't say the quality is fantastic but it does the job. You can take a look at it, you know where is the white E30..........

you are right, could be the clip.....I tried all sorts of things like cable ties, still can't secure the clip, always fall off after a few days.
