What is the widest size for 19" rear tyre

Hi AllWas wondering if you could help me with some info on the widest tyre size that could fit my 19inch rims 8.5. I am currently using 235/35/19 for my e90 but I would like to widen my rear to make it more flush with the fender. Can 255/30/19 or even 265/30/19 fit the rims. Thanks.

Isn't 235 width too narrow for the 8.5 inch rear, your tires must be stretched

You can definitely do 255 to 265 width. OEM setup is 255 on 8.5 wide rear fitment wheels.

To make it more flush, do the tires but also spacers which I recall you have. What is the offset on your current wheels?

I think its 34 offset. So you are saying up to 265/30 or is it 265/35 that is possible. what would the diff be except 265/30 would be lower?
