What does this indicate?

Dear Bros, what does this indicate on my gear indicator? I can still reverse and drive, didnt realise of the indication until i have driven 500m. I turned off the engine and restarted and it is still there. Any bros have gotten this before? Need to get it diagnose, hope can still drive tomorrow.View attachment 26953

Bro, my advice is don't drive the car if it still appear tomorrow.

Get a flat bed truck instead.

Thanks Alex. So what was your actual problem? Was it the transmission oil?

The bimmerforums also indicated it could be brake light problem that cause the indicator to light up. My brake light has problem, intermittently comes on and off, could be the wiring is loose. And the light is not as bright as before. Will get it check tomorrow.

Yes moots, tampered when i bought the car. Didnt know about it and have to live with it.

The icon shown that it might be gearbox transmission problem or gear position switch problem
