My highbeam does not shine high enough. Nor is it bright enough. My low beam is xenon, it is bright and I am happy with it.

Just wanna ask, can we also make the high beam xenon/HID as well?

Thanks.

U can but it is not adviseable to use the xenon for high beam, as the normal hid set cannot take the load if u constantly flash it. Might shorten the life.

I also can change the headlight adjuster without open the panel and i just bought a headlight restorer which able to polish the headlight to be shine again. But inside the headlight is blur then i can't do it. I only able to polish the outside of the headlight.

That's true. A friend bought a new pair of Hella originals and only lasted 2 years before the internal plastic adjusters broke and now he can't adjust his light further. He's thinking of buying a new set of headlights but looking for a different design as the original Hella design is very much dependable on the fragile plastics in these headlights.

Anyone tried aftermarket headlights and have good experience with it? I tried a pair of Taiwan headlights but wasn't satisfied with it due to the uneven light beam even though with adjustments.

"a new pair of Hella originals and only lasted 2 years" WWWOOOO then who wants to buy the original headlight ??????????
Change to aluminium headlight adjusters then u can use it for whole of your life bro .....................hehehehehehehehehe

I didnt use the aluminium headlight adjusters but i am using after market headlight adjusters which u can get it at Sea Park near Maybank. I have using it for more than 1 year no issue found. If that time i know aluminium headlight adjusters is available for sure i will buy aluminium adjusters.

are you referring to Suan Huat..? if so, I called them few months ago..they dont supply that part anymore

Thank you bros for sharing that the adjusters can be replaced without opening the headlight.

I prefer to DIY if that's possible or if I found some guides online. :)

@tweiboon: Yes it's true it only lasted 2 years only. He bought a new Hella facelifted headlamp and last week his adjuster broke and he's very upset with it.

Mind sharing with us how much you paid for the adjusters at that time? Anywhere else you think that I can get the Aluminium adjusters, preferable in Penang?

Thanks.

Plastic adjuster price is RM150 for a pair, and i'm selling the aluminium type on behalf of OM at RM450...both spec available now :)

If you not open the panel for changing this adjusters make sure your fingers is small enough to do the job or else for sure you will fail. If anything goes wrong will force you to open the panel then only can install the adjusters.

I bought my current headlights hella couldn't last more than 9months both sides broken. I bought d plastic headlight adjuster from Suan Huat at PJ seapark rm 150 for 2pairs.

Yesterday went to WRC installed HID and found out they do replace and sell aluminium headlights adjuster for rm 80 per pcs. Another alternative buy reconditioned headlight from them Rm 700. He can do d LED ring installation as well but charge rm 100 per side.

Rm450 is for 4 piece that can make for a pair of headlight, but seems like the price from Wrc is lower..another better option.

For the E90 320d cars, what do you suggest Yazmeen?

Just change to 10w led bulbs will do, E90 headlight also sealed proof and cannot do much :(
