One of my friends retrofitted his e90 325i LCI headlights with LEDs angle eyes by WRC Lamp Centre and it looks really nice. He replaced the stock 4.5k with 6k HID. As for aftermarket makes headlight, it may look pretty wicked but quality is always a question. I had a rather bad experience with Depo headlight for my e39 as the exterior started to degrade and crack less than 18 months of usage.
