Hi All,

For those who wants to DIY, the website procedure is sufficient to bring you from A to Z. Only lesson I like to share is becareful when you try to remove your old seal. It is quite difficult to cut and may scratch the piston. The piston precision is commendable and it would be a waste if you damage it.

Are you just buying the Vanos Seals Repair Kit? There is also the Vanos Rattle Repair Kit which should be installed with the seals repair kit.

For obvious reasons the double vanos, costs more. Do we still get bulk discount if we are buying different products? I am thinking of getting the Rattle Repair Kit as well

According to Beisan, rattle repair kit is only applicalble for engine that rattles when it is cold. Regarding discount, let us reached 10 sets (combination of products) first before I nego the final bulk discount as I am dealing directly with the CEO of Beisan Systems.

Guys, please ask any of your E46 friends whether they are keen to buy the vanos seals/rattle kit as E46 and E39 share the common vanos failure problem.

Bro there is also a rattle kit for the vanos. If you change your vanos seals and there is a rattle then you need to change the rattle kit which is inside the vanos piston it self.
