i ve talked to a mechanic few days back complaining about my underpowered e34. he suggested that i changed the cylinder block from 2.0 to 2.5 ltr. but we talked in a hurry so i didnt have the time to ask for details but he did mention the cost will be around 3-4 k. so im really appreciate any info. does the process called stroking? or stroking is rebore the existing cylinder to 2.5 size? what are the parts involve if i change the cylinder block to 2.5.? pistons, con rod, crankshaft.... what about the head, cams, extractor, DME ? what about tuning? is there any down side of this process.? im sorry if u already discussed this topic a few times, but i cant find the thread. :106: calling all sifus, i really need your opinions. please help.. help.. help... :63:* i drive e34 m50b20 (manual)
