Up-grade to M-Tech Seat

Dear Sifus,Recently I manage to find a complete M-Tech seat (Japan Spec) from kedai potong. There is no problem in fixing the front seats and the panel. But now I have got problem to install the rear seat, because it come with folded back, but mine is not, as there is a metal panel separating from the rear booth - mine E46 328i yr 2000 CKD.My question is, is it possible to cut the metal panel and not distrupting the rigidity of the car handling?, and has anyone done this before?. I believe its safe to cut the metal panel (with a huge BMW logo).
The ICE installer recommended me to cut it off when I was installing ICE to my E46 last time.

Thanks, Jasonnn for the info. I thought the "huge BMW logo" is for fire-wall, to keep the heat from the trunk/booth. I still have second thought about it, coz the installer want to cut the whole panel
