Just bought 2 pieces of Silverstone FTZ Evo VIII 235/45/17 fro rm330/piece about 2 weeks ago and had it fitted to the rears.On the sidewall,the manufacture date printed was (5004).....and we have 48 weeks in a year....or do we have more? :dunno: Yes,Silverstone = noise.But the dealer claims this is the new gen of Silverstones,like the Kruizer...silica impregnated tyres...less noise.Right now,it is quiet.Maybe it'll start to howl in 6 months. :dunno: :lazy:

Keep us posted on the performance of this tyre. Another E34 owner driving E34 "528i" fitted the Silverstone FTZ 235/45/17 (less than RM300 per piece!) and lasted one week only. The tyre couldn't take the weight. Right, "528i" owner? Now he is on Hand Cock K105, my rears are now Hand Cock K104.

but seriously...how is it possible for the tyres to wear in one week?unless he does drifting,wheel spins,jack rabbit starts and emergency braking all in 1 go.........
