Tyre Size Calculation

Was wondering if let say my tire size is 275/30/19. Can I change to 255/40/19 or 255/45/19? Any comments from tire sifu?Another thing, what happen to the Tyre Database Price thread? Cant seem to find it

I also can not found the tyre price database..May be accidentally deleted by admin..too many spammer recently.

Still dont understand, it just showed that the non stock tire will give a slower speedo reading. For example if stock tire is doing 60m/ph, the new tire is actully doing 61.3m0ph.

Actually, my concern is on the side wall and the width of the rims. With the new non stock tire example 255/35/19 instead of 275/30/19. Will the tire sit flush in the rims (the rubber will pretrude more than the rims if look from the side: if this sentence can be understood..not sure how to elaborate more on this.. tayar terkeluar sikit from the rims is easier explanation).

What is the width of your rims? Depending on the width of your rims, that would determine the ideal tyre fitment. Scroll down on this link to the Tyre Width Equivalency Table and maybe you can find the answer.
