A tire’s inflation pressure has to be checkedregularly as all tires lose pressure over time. The air seeps out through microscopic pores inthe tire, leaking slowly from the bead seal, andeven through porosity leaks in alloy wheels. Some tires tend to lose more air than others, and if a tire has a tiny puncture or a cut, it canlose a lot of air in a short period of time. The point here is that many motorists rarelycheck the infl ation pressure in their tires. Tirepressures must be checked when the tires arecold because driving generates friction and heatthat increases the pressure inside the tires.Checks on inflation pressures also require anaccurate tire gauge.Increasing the inflation pressure reduces rollingresistance which helps fuel economy andincreases the load carrying capacity of the tire, but it increases ride harshness. Decreasing theinfl ation pressure on the other hand improvesride quality by making the tire softer. Undercertain circumstances this may help improvetraction. However lowering the pressure alsoreduces the tire’s ability to carry weight andincreases rolling resistance as well as threadwear. When a tire is under inflated, it runs muchhotter than normal and this may pose apotential danger. An under infl ated, heavilyloaded tire on a fast traveling car has a greaterrisk of a blowout. A blowout can have deadlyconsequences as it causes the vehicle to losecontrol. If the blowout occurs on a vehicle likea truck or SUV with a high center of gravity, itgreatly increases the risk of a rollover.Tire Infl ation Pressure Monitoring Systems(TPMS) from Advanced Sensors (M) Sdn Bhd arebeing used on more and more vehicles. Low tirepressures are potentially dangerous, especiallyif a vehicle is heavily loaded and traveling athighway speeds during a hot weather. An underinflated tire under these conditions is a blowoutwaiting to happen. The inflation pressure of thetires should be checked regularly and this iswhere the Tire Pressure Monitor Systems comeinto use.Make sure you always check your tires beforeyou drive. Remember! As the tires wear out,the air pressure leaks out too.Pls call 012 4112255 for more details

dude nice marketing write up. clapx3. how much is tis gadget going to cost me? im keen tho.

Hi Selvah,

Didnt know Im going to see you here. Where are you?
For the rest, price is RM 699.

Let me know if you need a demo, we are doing for GP race and family car owners who emphasize on safety. Fyi, fatal accident due to tyre blow up whiel cruising at 160kmh.
Cautious and safe driving.

please look at mine, yes there is anti theft mechanism to lock the sensors and prevent from theft.
The link you gave me, yes we do carry this product however its not so popular now. Reason is simple, difficult to maintain as these sensors are batt powered, in the event that the batt is flat, then you have to open up your tyres. Also, you have to always open your tyre whenever there is so doubts on the sensors if they are working.
The one that you see in my website www.advancedsensors.com.my is much more convenient. From all the units we have sold, more than 50,000 worldwide, we dont see a concern in regards to this.

leemunjo,

If I could get your comment coz i just wondering whether my TPMS is working properly (mine f10 523i), here is my story....

I experienced tyre (RFT) punctured recently but my TPMS was not appear / signal on the loss of tyre pressure.
I realised about it when the car vibrated strongly and stopped at the roadside.
I noticed that my tyre already spoiled and can't hardly drive the car even at 20km/h.
Called up BMW voice (at 4am) & was arranged for tow truck (which came after 3 hours later)
Drove the car to the nearest R&R (5km ahead) with a very slow speed and after another 1-2 km then only the TPMS signal appeared.

Changed tyre at AB & confirmed tht no system fault but when manually tested (by reducing >1/2 tyre pressure ) the TPMS signal not appeared at all.

Later AB even installed updated software , & manually tested (by reducing > 1/2 tyre pressure ) the TPMS signal only appeared after 8km distance.

According to AB it's normally function (after 8km distance of loss of tyre pressure than only TPMS signal ON) but my concern is why was the delay i.e after 8km than only the TPMS signal on?
What is the point having TPMS if it can't immedietly signal about the loss of tyre pressure (in my case i personally can feel the strong vibration before the TPMS notify me.
Moreover if i drove the car at 180km/h & TPMS warning signal only appears after 8km, at tht time my tyre already spoiled and can't be driven anymore (R-o-F tyre can only be driven at less than 80km/h for it to last at 100km distance) & than have to call tow truck.

Already e-mailed the complaint to AB m'sia, BMW m'sia & BMW german but no reply so far (only received acknowledgement of e-mail from BMW german).

Any comment/opinion? or this is the the normal characteristic of f10 too
Any opinion?
