top speed e46 318

i sometimes get Selene to work hard everytime i get to drive her which is not very often.driving out of my housing area while exiting the traffic lite at the F1 Circuit onto the road that parallels the runway at KLIA,that's where i gun it..take her all the way to the redline in 2nd,3rd and finally 4th which translates to 220kph.upshift to 5th and settle down at maybe 160kph.she'll drive very nicely after that..can't do it too often though cuz petrol is sooo expensive now!! once in a while..once in a while :wink:

so don't be afraid to gun it once in a while to give her a nice stretch and a bitta workout..that way she'll know you really treasure her performance and treat you in kind :wink:

yeah..i was talking about my ride.i know the 1.9 only comes with a 4speed auto but the basic theory applies..
and yes,i do it in steptronic mode so that the transition to 5th while slowing down is smoother..if not the box wudn't know what hit it cuz it'll be confused.

Yes, for the E46 325i. The E90 325i has a 6 speed autobox.

all 6cyl e46s comes with a 5speeder be they manual or auto.

only the e46 M3 and the 330i with sports pack comes with a 6speeder.

Man drives 318 at top speed w jammed accelerator

135 mph = 216 kph.

And the brakes burnt out...

Had to crash into a roundabout to stop. (remember, the speed was 216 kph)
