I've had it for about three weeks now, finally had to time to sort through some cellphone pics and post up a thread here. I'm hoping this will serve as a journal or some sorts to document the progress of my e36.Got it from a forum member here, it is in pretty good mechanical and aesthetic condition. But I'm a little anal about maintenance stuff so right off the bat I have a few things I wanna replace. Part were bought but still sitting in the trunk waiting to be put on  Paint has some dents, chipping and rock chips, might address that as well.Alright then, a few pictures for starters.First morning of ownership.

This is also my second e36 and BMW. When I went to check out my current e36, I took one look at it sitting on the parking lot: instant emotional reaction. Here's a picture in comparison.

Thank you all for the kind words, but I can't take credit for it. Previous owner did a good job keeping it a clean example with some simple yet tasteful mods.

nice car ...what's under the hood ?

M50B25, and comes with a manual from the factory.
Bro iceman, you have an estoril e36 with a thick trunk lid spoiler is it? I think I saw your car on the Seremban highway a few weeks back, tried to get a closer look but it was raining and you were going quite fast :p

Yeah, Phai Ice drives an awesome Estoril Blue-ish E36... Don't pray pray. Did you notice the rims? If BBSes, confirm him la :p

If they were, I wouldn't have notice anyway...spinning so fast :p Number is 666 or something like that, looks so planted and steady even in the rain.

Very nice!

Looks like your ex-car is an E36 M3?
Cool!

Yup, 96 S52B32  That set me on this love affair with BMWs..

....instant emotional reaction.... Yeah, that's what bimmers do to you mate. Nice looking ride you have there btw.

hmm..... the pic of your car at the parking lot looks familiar.... is it at Kuchai Enterpreneurs Park?

Yup, that's right!

Giving it a wash and trying my hands at removing some paint defects (didn't go too well for me)

Look at the shiz I picked up..could use a good claying all over..there goes Wesak holiday!

p.s - ONR works awesome as a claying lube, smooth like a baby's bottom  To a newbie like me, feels just as good, if not better, than Meg's Quik Detailer. A++ will buy again.

so..... you did your oil change there at kuchai? which shop? while waiting got go up for massage? LOL....

Kuchai kaki?

Honk if you see a silver WDR with no fog lights rolling around ;)

Are those genuine rims?
