thanks thanks thanks

it matches what i have in mind the car should look like.

But i have no complaints for these

Tom, this is KLCC parking lot rite? ur front bumper wud scratch the floor going down the slope o not?
the height is jus nice... :)

yeah it'sKLCC
KLCC is just nice. if i go slow enough. if i dive down the slope directly then i'll need the shave the floor a little. most places are okay except for sungai wang. though i've never tried it yet.
i wouldn't worry too much about the front. it's the centre going see saw i'm worry about. the humps around low yat jockey is pretty scary. if it shaves my bumper, my exhaust is bound to get it.

tom i bet dont u ever try Pertama Complex parking or else u will experience the see saw ride bro coz i kena wit my E36, aduh it hurts

yea, Low Yat hav some terrible humps down de slope & jus at de exit... tat 1 is sharp...

Tom,
Just noticed you've got a unihip on your car.
Where did u get that done and what does it do?
Can u just adjust fuel or can it do timing as well?
Cheers.

nice car tom.
reminds me of my previous ride...
the e34 still looks good man.
sayang i never found that darn 540i engine to plonk in or went ahead with that 2jz. sigh!

bailey:
i don't think i'll ever go down a car park i'm not familliar with especially older ones. but generally i'm not that particular. i don't cry when i scrape some metal :)

but thanks, i had plenty of see sawing when i was a kid

reedor:
yes, the lowyat car park exit is evil. i have to do the routine snake maneuver to pull it off. with one of the tyre smoking.

slide:
yeah, had it for some time. I did it in JB where i was from. it optimizes the engine a little.

Unless you're running a stock engine, a chip wouldn't yield enough for your money's worth.

judging by your signature, a chip will do your car some good. A chip should be able to optimize your engine to the fullest with the stuff you have.

i don't really see you around anymore around KL?

hitman:
your car is a real monster. it's got plenty of stuff looking at the classified you put up. oh yes, i would really consider stuffing a V8 in there given the chance and availability or even a possiblity of a manual transmission for it.

not too sure about putting in a 2JZ though...

thanks!

-MAF Conversion
-M50 Injectors

MAF Conversion
My all-time favourite addition to the M20 engine.

Verdict:
MAF really does wonders to the laggy M20. Especially revving from idle onwards. Forget fluctuating revs at gas-off. expect instantaneous response with a press of the pedal.

How:
For this, some kind of a ecu tuning device is required. For this, i used the existing Unichip i have already been using for at least the last 6 years.

You can easily replace the AFM with the MAF without tuning the ECU and the engine will work but the car will be next to undriveable. you could probably try using a fuel and ignition altering device on your own. just make sure you have an aif/fuel ratio gauge to monitor performance.

There are 2 options for manipulating the existing air temperature probe. To dig the existing one out from the M20 AFM and plugging it in to the MAF and wiring it or to use an adjustable voltage resistor to emulate temperature reading to the ECU. but the reading will be a stagnant one. I prefer the easier resistor route.

M50 Injectors Conversion
Forget lumpy performance.

Verdict:
I don't know if it's the age or part of wear and tear, but the M20 injectors actually streams rather than mist the fuel. No matter how many times it's cleaned, ultrasonically or not, i never got the M20 injectors to spray properly.

Other significant differences of the M50 Injectors are the 4 smaller nozzles instead of the M20 single large nozzle.

If you have problems with cold starts or lumpy performance, get a set of M50 injectors instead.

By the way:
Anyone's got a 3" air filter for sale? Running without one now.
By the way, i've got some things i may sell:
-M20 B25 AFM
-Huge K&N Air filter
-K&N Air Filter original attachment bracket for the AFM
