..supercharger sounds like a coffe machine..is that normal..

..today i had an opportunity to see in live 2 beemos , supercharged..it was rather enthusiastic sighting for me, until i heard sound of the 'thing' during engine idling/revving .. i mean..it sounds like a ... coffee blending machine, empty one..is this how supercharger should sound?? I mean, its ugly..yiiii..

yes, it has a very heavy gurgle sound... for the OEM factory SC builts, it's much quieter...

centri gear type chargers have the gear whine. twin screws have the metal rattle sound. but turbo, has the supersonic whistle, makes little girls cry and bigger girls wet

sure bohhhhh??? we shall see abt the turbo....
gear whine is cool....... last time i was driving with out the gear rubber boot... wah... the raw engine sound + the s/c sound and the gearbox whine... like ochestra... hahaha... orgasmic...

Ecc0, have you heard the sound a Vauxhall VXR8 makes then? The one Jeremy Clarkson/Top Gear has tested a few years back? You can start hearing the whine from 1:25 onwards.
