hey guys hope someone can help me with this problem. I was at sunway pyramid yesterday when i hit a lubang!!!  After that incident my steering wheel vibrates alot at 40-70km/h. The vibration gets lesser as i go faster. Oh yeah and also when i am turning, the vibration is also les apparent. Could anyone tell me if its a major problem? Am sending the car for balancing tomorrow. Thanks in advance :)

when i turn the steering to left or right,
its makes sound..
sound kinda kasar sangat bunyi nyer..
like ada geseran.. :(

what happened yek..?
steering pump tak cukup pressure ke..?
or steering rack got problem..?
or else..?

I think you better get yourself another rack from chop shop.....just in case..:)

aiyah....if rim bengkok what to do? Will balancing be enough or is there a way to "unbengkok" the rim??

I think you shud did the wheel balancing and we discuss again. Lubang normally that thing.

try to do balancing first..

if it really bengkok,
then kene bakar aar itu sportrim..
kira macam kene mold balik..

Repairing a bent wheel inevitably involves heating it up and by extension weakens the wheel itself.

Would you want to save a few bucks and drive on weakened wheels thereby endangering your life and that of your loved ones, or would you want to be safe and drive on new replacement wheels? I chose the latter.

Money can always be earned back, but a life once lost is truly lost forever.

But our friend here seem to be no answer until now whether he found the problem that cause the vibrations.

jemaebmw ... search the threads... i remember reading on some rim repairs workshop recommendation here. If not mistaken there is one in TTDI

ok guys sorry for late update...internet kaput for awhile...after did the balancing and allignement the vibration problems much less...but due to that lubang my left lower arm bengkok...the car only vibrates at speeds 120++ now...and yeah there is this "ok" tire shop Pj called hupshun and they repair bengkok rims

i c.. so the arm actually bengkok.. dude.. u hit a huge hole is it? next time b more careful on the road..

metalrizca...dude..if u hear like buzzing sound when u turn the steering left of right...it could also be a sign of ur power steering pump is gonna go kaput sometime soon..dont worry...pretty common...happens to most cars between 4 years and above...check that out :D
