Steering Problem

Guys, my e39 steering feels abit loose during slow speed and at high speeds, it wanders by tilting slightly to the left. Its not too bad till I had to constantly adjust it to keep the car straight.Hopefully someone can help me narrow down the problem so I dont have to replace unnecessary parts.P.S: Car is bought 2nd hand from my coworker. Only suspension part replaced is the absorber. The rest are old parts.

Sounds like the power steering rack to me.

This part is the rack and pinion steering rack which can be sourced refurbished at RM1.5k or buy a used rack for about RM1k.

And also check your tie rod ends, kingpin bushes as well as the lower arm bushes.

Bro, hv u sent for alignment after replacing the absorbers?

Need to hoist the car for further inspection......

The absorber was changed by the previous owner. Guess I gotta send it to a mech to have it checked out soon.
