Schwepps;473526 said:Ehh Astro, yours is a Christmas 2007 car right? If so you have BSRI until Christmas 2010 wat. And you've only gone 1/2 way to the km limit. Haven't bought the calculator yet, or still testing whether I'm out to lunch?
astroboy;473542 said:hehe... my mistake.. like what we spoke about during lunch... keep focusing on bad things.. yes, my BSRI due Dec-2010. But I keep focusing on "warranty" which is 2 years and due next month..
The BSRI is no big deal la. Brake pads and rotor, oil, oil filter, wiper blades, cabin filter.. and I think the list stops there. Still, its better than nothing la. My wiper blades still like new, seldom use them.. front brake pads.. pretty worn now, 7k km to go and maybe one more BSRI oil change at most.. by next Christmas 2010.
Schwepps;473773 said:No problem with oil change, MSport: BSRI = 3 years, warranty = 2 years. As Astro says, the warranty lapsing is worse because now if you have broken or worn parts such as suspension, exhaust, brakes, be prepared to part with some real money.
German parts are the most expensive in the auto world. Just had cracked front suspension bits replaced on the Merc. Total cost...RM6k...

or is it the other way around?
