Hi all:) From the research of goodies on E30, i found that there are replica stuff in terms of wheels, if an owner upgrade the wheels to a replica ones, will it ruin the authenticacy of the whole car? which u guys prefer?, 15" racing dynamics or a bigger set breyton, hammann, alpina replicas?

This has been discussed too many times. The e30's suspension was designed to allow for optimum performance with a maximum wheel size of 16 inches.

Ori or replica, it is up to individual tastes, bearing in mind that 16" is the optimum size.

yeap, understood and read on the wheels size many times too, what im asking is opinions on replicas or ori on ur beloved machine, will it affect the whole car's authenticacy and reliability....? in terms of quality and finishing, does it gap too much or its a worth investment on replicas, just asking for opinion:)

huh, so that means whoever use replica is buat malu bmw, is that what u mean? since u since cheap thing no good????

vobs,

I said: "Good thing not cheap, cheap thing no good".

This was in response to your initial question: "will it affect the whole car's authenticacy and reliability....? in terms of quality and finishing, does it gap too much or its a worth investment on replicas, just asking for opinion"

How did you come to the conclusion that using replicas are embarassing? If it is, why is there a thriving industry for replicas? I would appreciate it if you do not put words into my mouth as your inability to paraphrase another's words is embarassing.

Good thing not cheap, cheap thing no good.............that's exactly what it means verbatim.

okok chill bro, im just asking u back whether am i wrong or am i right in intepreting what u wrote, im not saying u state what i wrote.....sorry if i offended anyone on this, no harm intended.

if cheap things are no good, why bother and be proud of it? i wonder?

Cheap things no good. Good things no cheap.

To this piece of wisdom, I will add one more point.

Cheap things are expensive.

Becausetheywillbreakandyouendupbuyingoriginalanyways.

Becausewhenreplicasbreaktheysometimesdamageotherthings.

"Will replica affect the authenticity of the car". Duh, yeah.

There are lots of udms on the road that are cosmetically for all intent and purposes taiwan-made bmws. I hear Taiwan is an up and coming force to be reckoned w in automotive engineering excellence. As long as it does not involve any moving parts.

wah I feel so cheap now.....

when it comes to e30 rims....got money also cannot find, at least those I want.....

nevermind, the hunt continues....

buy original bmw parts, it will not cause you harm ( to your wallet, bank acc, wife(borrow), gf, parents)

and i think it would look better in terms of workmanship and save up some embarrassing moments if u see those brats who always tease those unfortunate souls:) good luck to u all
