Did you asked richard to set your damper to soft or medium? I'm happy with Titan. Get the setting I want after 3 times re set.

Oh.I dint know that we could reset it. Is it as soft as the oem??
hmm..i think i should go back to him.
THANKS bro for the info!

Titan is not like some adjustable absorber where you can just twist some lock to set the setting to hard/medium/soft. It is custom made. To reset/retune they need to removed the suspension and removed the absorber and dismantle it into pieces. Richard is an expert will ask you how do you want it. Hard means good at high speed cornering but you will get bumpy ride over rough or uneven road. My choice will be medium setup. It is very much personal preference and how do you drive and whether you drive alone most of the time or with passenger most of the time. You need to compromise between comfort and handling.

Dont put BOGE. New BOGE only last for 1 year ++. If is used BOGE absorber then how long u think it can be last ?

Tweiboon, the ori are BOGE automatic and average it last 5 years to 8 years ya?

Are sure you bought the original Boge and not those fakes Boge from China? I am using Boge for more than 3 years plus many rempit sessions. Nothing wrong with my Boge absorbers.

The most soft setting on the TiTan will still be stiff. Period !

I didnt buy Boge. I have a spare park supplier which have selling Original Boge absorber. The most short period of Boge absorber is 9 months. He also very headache on selling this absorbers. He recommended SACH for cheaper replacement. He said if you only travel on High Way then Boge can last longer. If not high way drive then the live is very short. He dosent sells Bilstein. At the end he recommended me to buy Bilstein absorbers.

I have went to Bavarian Auto Puchong for asking the Boge absorbers. They told me live span is 2 years. If i buy from them no warranty on the absorbers. I bought the ABS module from Bavarian Auto Puchong also no warranty from them. How come selling new spare part but no warranty ?

one advise ...pls take back your used abs and throw it away in some re-cycle garbage bins ..as the ones left at the workshop are usually being taken to re-furbish ...got to help to stop this for once ...

Wahh was planning to go for Titan once my Boge is shot. Softest setting still stiff? As stiff as B8?

I have no issues with stiffness coz I like it that way to tackle MEX corners :) When I sold my E36 328i, the new owner wanted it softer so I got it sent to Richard and requested the stiffness to be at lowest, which was still found stiff. I was running on H&R Sport. They advised me to change to ORIGINAL springs but then again whats the point right. So all in all TiTan isn't bad but you have to spend $$$ and lots of time to get what you want. If still cannot then, go for Bilstein PSS9 B16 :p Somehow this could be a different story for other models. My experience is based on E36. Hope this helps.

So is it safe to say that the level of softness can be boiled down to spring?

Wingzee, to your question, yes and no.
there is a balance to the spring rate and the absorber rebound rate, shaft length, gas or oil or hybrid.

I guess im wasting my money if i go and reset it to SOFT?? As in i wont get the ORI OEM feeling?

bro, kalau nak yg bajet... boleh pakai yg oem nye.... sach ke boge ke.... bilstein yg kaler itam tu.. bukan yg kaler kuning tau... x mahal sgt....
kalau nak bajet lg boleh beli kat kedai potong specialist bmw.... mcm kat atsb kota damansara atau mk kepong.

kalau nak brg hakat siap pasang try beli kat blue green BG atau kat Along trader jk auto kat big plate kg subang... rega kene bincang dgn runner tu le

You will not waste your money should you use use a normal ori spring and at titan soft setting. I sat in 3 e36 with such setting a convertible with 19 rim, a 325 ci and 4 door 328. The ride are firm yet comfy, but only issue is going pass yellow strips and uneven road you get extra firm feel. Tell them to set the height to ori, don't lower it for look.
