Hello all,I'm a 28 year old currently living and working in Japan but I'm planning to return to Malaysia in 2-3 years time. I'm thinking of getting a BMW 320i here to take back with me later but I don't have any experience with BMW cars especially regarding maintenance costs etc. Could you guys please explain the frequency and rough figures required to maintain a BMW 320i in Malaysia (Klang Valley area)? I'm attaching pics as reference and the car's basic specs are:Year 20092.0L29, 000 kmView attachment 26223View attachment 26222Any advice is really appreciated, thank you!

kenzo,

maintaining bmw in msia is now easy & price is reasonable. there are many workshops available that can service a bm. If you want to send to authorised bm dealer like auto bavaria is a bit tricky....coz they don't svc car unless you buy from them. Actually, they do take but you have to pay upfront about rm500...sorta like u register with them & only after that they will svc your car.

hope that helps.

Bro, why not get something less common like a cabriolet or ci E93/E92 325 or 320d? They are more demand compared to 320i as N46 engine are known as "MANJA" yet lack of ooommph. Best balance engine is 320d for fuel economy and power.

There many good workshop in KL to maintain your car at reasonable price and you can save a lot of $$$ if your friends in Japan can help post some parts to Malaysia.

Agree with Anaksarawak, bring home the coupela....and a 6 pots. Cars in Japan are damn cheap anyway, thinking of bringing home one but wife prefer B200...aiyooo. E46 330ci 2004 can get only for rm20k, E92 320i rm80k but not many 325...it goes straight to 335i around rm120k.

ayoo wrong car to bring back from japan ... some skyline GTR perhaps ...

Cheapest GTR I found is rm180k with 40k km year 2008 but tax will be a killer since its 3.8l, cash plak tu....huhuhu. tIANcI, try browse 'goonet Japan ' and you'll see those AP king making quick bucks. However total ownership cost is not cheap unless you duduk kamponglaa. So kenzo....still weighing your options kaaa....for me tak mampu Nissan GTR but Kawasaki GTR is high on the list
