I totally agree with what Vincent said.
At this age, the condition of the car is paramount. The E32 my dad bought is around the same age as the car you mentioned, [730i], but it still gives me so much satisfaction.

Did you know, I just got back from a really long trip last weekend with my E32? Covered almost 683 miles [1,100kms] just covering KL-Seremban-Alor Star, all in the space of 2.5 days. On the journey back, I even managed to complete the Alor Star - Subang leg in roughly 5 hours. I'm very happy with my ride, and I believe you will be satisfied with your E32 too.

A well-loved and cared for example will probably cost in the region of the figure you mentioned above, but factor in some added expenses for fuel and maintenance, and you'll probably be a proud owner of one of the most solid and reliable 7s you can possibly ever own.
