RFT and Wheels

Can RFT tyres be used on all wheels/rims? I heard that in order for RFT to work, the rims need a different kind of humps so that the tyres will not slide off the wheels when punctured. I don't think this is quite true. BMW of course said otherwise. Your thoughts/experience? Thanks.

Hi bro...
I'm just newbie wanna share some...
My rims are BBS RC 17...
Front normal tyres but the rear are RFT so far just fine with it...
The previous owner use it that way so just bought it from him...

Yes RFT's can be fitted to most rims. The question is, when loss of pressure occurs (puncture), will the largers beads on RFT 'stay' in the rims hump or will it slide off? If it slides off, then the function of RFT is no longer there.

Tyre manufacturer recommend EH2 (extended hump) for RFT's.
